Can jasmine help induce sleep, as it has a pleasant scent?

Jasmine can help to induce sleep, as it has a nerve relaxant action. To make a tea of the flowers, steep two to three teaspoons of fresh flowers (1/2 to 1 teaspoon of dried flowers) in a cup of boiling water for 15 minutes. If you are using jasmine essential oil, you can put a few drops on a tissue and keep the tissue by your pillow, or spritz your room or pillow from a spritzer containing a mixture of 2 ounces (60 ml) of water with a few drops of the essential oil.
