Could you please help me? I am 34 years old, and have nonexistant menstrual cycles. I also have been diagnosed as being borderline diabetic. Is there anything I can take to have a cycle and also to help me become fertile. Please help what can I do?

I recommend that you consult with a good natural practitioner who can do a full assessment and advise you on a diet and herbs to promote balanced hormones. You can find a well qualified practitioner through one of the associations listed on our website www.richters.com. Choose "Q&A" from the main menu, then enter "herbalist for the search. The item "Finding a Herbalist" lists the websites for these associations. Consulting with an expert who can assess your individual needs will be much more efficient than trying various treatments on your own. You will find some information on infertility on our website at www.richters.com. Choose Q&A from the main menu, and enter "fertility" for the search. I recommend reading the following books: Amanda McQuade Crawford’s "Herbal Remedies for Women" (Prima Publishing) and "Healthy Parents, Better Babies" A Couples Guide to Natural Preconception Health Care by Francesca Naish and Janette Roberts (publisher The Crossing Press, California). The information described in Naish and Roberts’ book is used in natural fertility clinics, whose statistics for successful pregnancies with healthy babies is much higher than in clinics using fertility drugs.
