I used to have very good metabolism, but I’m over thirty and I had a baby. I was in the store looking for an herb to help increase my metabolism, and I was told to try Cayenne Fruit. My question is, I am taking the Yaz birth control pill and I wondered if Cayenne Fruit would interfere with it?
No, cayenne will not interact with the birth control pills. However, I do not believe cayenne is going to get to the bottom of your slowed metabolism. It is very common for women after having a baby or two for their metabolism to slow down as their adrenal glands and then thyroid become "tired". It is important to eat nourishing foods, get plenty of sleep and keep ones stress response to a minimum as these three issues help to build a solid foundation for a healthy metabolism.
