It’s an appetite suppressant. I want to know if it has any bad side effects or shouldn’t be used with certain meds? I have high blood pressure and take Synthroid.

I am not familiar with this herb, however, it appears to historically be used as a food and vegetable in India. There is a little bit of research for it being used as an appetite suppressant, but it seems to all be based on one study. The possible side effects have not been mentioned. Here is the study: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17097761
