Substitute for Tobacco, Smoking Herbs Answered by: Christine Dennis Question from : Regena
I have to quit smoking for surgery. I read in one of my herbal books that coltsfoot is a substitute, but I can’t find it. Can’t I smoke dandelion leaves?
Traditionally the following herbs have been used as tobacco cigarette substitutes: lobelia, coltsfoot, mullein, and horehound. I am not familiar with dandelion leaves being used as a substitute.
