I saw in your catalogue that you have dried Yucca root bark (item H7100). I would like to know how is this product used as a dietary supplement. Do we need to mix it with food or soak it into water? Is it possible to have it as root powder?

To prepare the roots for use as a medicine you can either cut them up and place in vodka or brandy for a month to make a tincture, a liquid extract of the plant, or you can take 1 T of roots chopped finely and place in 2 cups of water and simmer for 15 to 20 mins. Dose would be 3 to 5 mls of tincture or 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of tea from boiled roots, up to three times daily.

Although Richter’s does not carry the powdered roots, it is possible to powder the roots down from the cut roots for use.
