Who knows where I can get some tomatillo plants or how to grow the seeds.

Richters Herbs sells tomatillo seeds under catalogue number S8685.

The seeds should be stored in a cool place to increase their storage lifespan. Like tomatoes, they should be started indoors four to six weeks before the last frost date for your area for an early start. Transplant to the outdoors after the last frost and space them fourty-five centimeters apart in rows. Surface sow the seeds in a somewhat alkaline soil, press into the soil surface and after watering cover the seedflat with clean plastic and keep the seedflat in a bright spot with no direct sun. Once the seeds have germinated gradually increase the light to full sun.
