Please advise how many cloves for planting there are in 2000g of elephant garlic (product # S2785).

Unfortunately the sizes of cloves vary a great deal from bulb to bulb. On average we have found that there are 20 to 40 cloves per kilogram for elephant garlic. It would be double that for 2000 grams.

The sizes are even more varied for ordinary garlic. We are discarding the centre of those bulbs, because it tends to consist of very tiny cloves. By discarding these centers we end up with around 100 to 200 cloves per kilogram there.
