Herbs de Provence Answered by: Conrad Richter Question from: Janet O’Reilly Posted on: October 18, 2001
Do you carry the product "Herbs de Provence"?
Do you mean the dried mixes sold in the clay jars from France? That is a French branded product which we used to carry many years ago, but not now. We have no idea who is selling the line now.
"Herbes de provence" is also a generic term for herbs and herb mixes from the Provence region of France. A keynote flavour in the mixes is lavender flowers added to herbs such as thyme and rosemary.
