Uses: Aromatic Duration: Perennial (hardy in zones 7-10)

“A staggering display of apricot spikes... erupting like flames,” is how the breeder describes it. Indeed, this is one very impressive herb from England -- a fine selection for flower beds, borders and containers. It is compact, and very quick growing. Flowers are long blooming, starting year one from June on. They are fragrant, and may even draw a hummingbird or two to your garden. Apricot Sprite is a “Fleuroselect Quality Award” winner in 2000—awarded for novelt -- it produces wonderful cut and arranged flower spikes. Flowers are sometimes brewed into a tea, and aromatic leaves can be dried for potpourri. Plant is drought tolerant and suitable for xeriscaping; otherwise should not be allowed to become waterlogged. Locate in full sun to part shade. Height 18in (45cm)
