Fresh leaves burst of lemon when squeezed. A truly delightful tea made from the dried leaves is our favourite anytime tea as it both stimulates the heart and calms the nerves. We urge everyone to try it. Fresh chopped leaves are also interesting in salads, soups and stews. Proven effective against herpes. CITRONELLA is the most fragrant variety available. Has double the oil content of other varieties, up to 0.4%. Suited for home gardens and for commercial pot plant and field production. Uniform, compact, erect form, 25-30cm/10-12in high with medium-large to large leaves. Mildew resistant.
