(Vana Tulsi) Large robust species with felt-like grey-green leaves. Grows wild in the Himalayas and plains of India and in Africa. Strong clove scent and spicy flavour, excellent for culinary use. This is one of three varieties of tulsi venerated in India where is it is known as vana tulsi and has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries.
