Rose-Scented Bergamot

It’s easy to fall in love with this one! With an amazing geranium rose scent (owing to its high geraniol content) and showy lavender coloured flowers, this makes a very attractive addition to a flower bed, cottage or pollinator garden. Prefers well drained soil but is tolerant to a variety of soil conditions as long as it remains moist. Thrives in full sun to part shade. Very easy to grow, and rewarding too, especially when you observe the flurry of pollinators it will attract! Makes a pleasant tea and a great choice for potpourri. Good circulation is necessary, as bergamot is at risk of powdery mildew. Height 1-3 feet.
