A terrific all-purpose triploid seedless aroma hop similar to the German Tettnanger variety. Adds a spicy, sweet fruity character to beers. The spicy character is due to its high farnesene content. Developed in Corvallis, Oregon, in 1997 from a cross of a diploid Tettnanger clone and a tetraploid Hallertauer. Alpha acid 5-7.9%. |
