A quickly growing early bloomer thats incredibly easy to grow! Produces masses of deep blue flower spikes darker than other English varieties. Compact growth habit and only needs about 10 hours of sun light per day to initiate flowering! Plant in full sun and well drained alkaline sandy soil, ideally in a raised bed or rock garden as it is prone to root rot if conditions are too wet. Perfect for borders, rock gardens and containers. Commonly grown as an annual as its not quite as hardy as other English varieties. Bloom time spring-summer. Ht. 25-30cm/10-12".
