Creamy white flowers set against a backdrop of green foliage makes this a very attractive ornamental herb for the garden. Indeed, the Royal Horticultural Society has honoured it with an Award of Garden Merit, and it is an excellent as a cut or dried flower. But it is also a Chinese medicinal herb valued for its bitter aromatic tonic properties and is used to treat menstrual and liver disorders. Easy to grow in moist soil in full sun. Non-invasive, unlike the European mugwort. Ht. 90-150cm/3-5ft.
