(Blue sage) An aromatic shrub native to grasslands, floodplains and forests of western North America. Highly aromatic. Along with others in the artemesia group including wormwood and mugwort, it is loved for its silvery foliage that makes a great contrast in the garden. Tolerant to a variety of soil conditions but prefers drier, alkaline soil, making it a great choice for xeriscaping. Drought tolerant. Height 60-150cm.
