Bulls Blood Beet

An heirloom variety introduced in 1840, producing stunning dark red leaves. Leaves are tender and sweet for use in salads. The beets can be harvested when young, at the 2-3 inch size. Glossy foliage makes it an attractive bedding plant, providing contrast. 35-40 days for leaves, 55-65 days for roots.
