One of the best varieties for drying and for preserves. Excellent for eating fresh off the tree as well. Very sweet. Fruits are bigger and more numerous than those of Celeste. From the fig breeding program at Louisiana State University but never released officially. Often confused with O’Rourke, a variation of Celeste released by LSU.
