Although not the best variety for culinary use, it is a wonderful ornamental hybrid (O. Rotundifolium and O. Scabrum). Prized for its unique trailing habit and drooping hop-like pink-purple flower bracts that form a semi-mounding dome that looks great in rock gardens, containers and window boxes. Thrives in average to dry soil with excellent drainage in full sun. Makes beautiful dried arrangements. Height 10 inches.
