Purple Carpet Lemon

One of our most popular varieties for its extreme hardiness, easily tolerating cold climates and harsh winters. Its mat forming growth habit makes it an excellent groundcover as well as perfect choice to plant between flagstones. Decorated by bright mauve-purple blossoms and a delightful lemon aroma that fills the air when walked upon! Plant in sandy, well drained soil in full sun. Thyme is typically low maintenance but is sensitive to overwatering, susceptible to fungal diseases and root rot. Never exceeds 5cm in height.
