(Green Ischia fig) A favourite among fig lovers. Medium to large green fruits have a rich raspberry flesh with excellent flavour. Steven Biggs, author of Grow Figs Where You Think You Can’t, rates it "very delicious." It is a mid-season "main crop" variety, as most of its fruits develop on the current year’s shoots, not on the previous year’s growth.
