Do you recommend any specific treatments/herbs for plaque fighting and bad breath in dogs? Any recomendations would be helpful.

Plaque and bad breath are typically signs of poor digestion as well as the need for a diet that is easily metabolised. In my experience, this is most often done through the use of a good, homemade diet. In fact, once on homemade food, dogs and cats seldom have plaque build-up at all. Please see the following books for further information on this subject as well as suggestions for recipes: Richard Pitcairn’s "Natural Health for Dogs and Cats", "The Complete Herbal Handbook for the Dog and Cat" by Juliette de Bairacli Levy and "The Barf Diet" by Ian Billinghurst.
