Dog and Unpleasant Odour

My dog, Lady smells quite bad. It doesn’t matter what we use in her bath, she still smells as if she has rolled in the cow pasture. Lady is a inside dog and unfortunately, the rugs now smell just like her. Is there any herb that I could use to stop the smell?

Unless your dog has literally rolled in something unpleasant, the odour you describe is often a reflection of how well her body is working on the inside. This means the first place to look is her diet. Most dogs see a vast change occur once on a good, homemade diet. Please see the works of Richard Pitcairn, "Natural Health for Dogs and Cats", "The Complete Herbal Handbook for the Dog and Cat" by Juliette de Bairacli Levy and "The Barf Diet" by Ian Billinghurst for further information.
