Please give to us your suggestions regarding the following dilemma we have, or point us to right person. We would like to plant together 4 mature perennial herbs, which would represent following nationalities: a) Russian - we are planning to plant Russian Sage or other; b) American - St. Johns Wort or other; c) Spanish - ??????????; d) Japanese - ?????????.

Please give to us your suggestions. We would like to have herbs that would grow together comfortably at sunny place in Georgia. The place is in the front of the house and if there are blooms, all the better.

For American you could also try echinacea. A suggestion for Spanish could be Spanish lavender (winter indoors) or Spanish sage (winter indoors) and for Japanese try mitsuba or Japanese parsley and if you have lots of room and a support, Japanese hops would be quite decorative. You could also use Japanese mint, but since the latin name implies a Canadian origin, this may not be the best choice.
