Flax processing

I recently purchased some flax seed from your company I was impressed with speed that my order was processed.

I have recently acquired the title of flax man in my spinning community and have been asked to put together some information on flax and flax processing. In my seed order there was a sheet of paper on flax processing which leads to my question, could you send the name of the book that this information was taken? I would be greatly appreciative. If the presentation turns out well I will drop a line and let you know.

The sheet that comes with fibre flax seeds we sell comes from the book, "A Dyers Manual" by Jill Goodwin (Pelham Books, London, 1982).

An excellent reference you should look at also is "The Magic of Linen: Flax Seed to Woven Cloth" by Linda Heinrich (Orca Book Publishers, Victoria, BC, 1992).

Another excellent book is "Flax Culture: From Flower to Fabric" by Mavis Atton which unfortunately is now out-of-print. It is worth checking for it at your library.
