I am interested to know seed yield of Nasturtium per acre. In other words, how much seed can be obtained from one acre of Nasturtium cultivation.
The two main types, the dwarf and the climbing types, yield between 875 and 1375 kg of seeds per hectare, or 350-550 kg per acre according to studies done in Tanzania.
How do you view Nasturtium from a commercial seed production/cultivation point of view?
Interest in nasturtium as an edible flower continues to grow each year. We see seed production as a stable crop for the forseeable future.
