I have just started making my own soups and love the idea of using various lentils. Are there herbs you could recommend that would enhance and enrich the flavour of lentil soup??
It really depends somewhat on the other ingredients you put with the lentils. For instance if you use carrots or tomatoes, try fresh coriander or dill. Add a bay leaf early in the cooking and fresh herbs in the last 3 minutes. Try also fresh thyme, savory or parsley or dried oregano.
