Stevia

I recently purchased a Stevia plant and was wondering if you could please e-mail me some information on how to grow and cultivate it. I don’t have or know anything about it. I live on the westcoast of Vancouver Island near Victoria, B.C. Also do you know if it is safe for diabetics? Do you know of any place where I could get information on the nutritional analysis of Stevia?

Stevia likes sunny, warm, moist conditions with long days. You can put it outside for the summer, but have to move indoors as soon as the nights dip close to freezing.

It usually dies down in the fall and if treated correctly, will regrow from the dormant roots as soon as the days get longer and warmer.

The plant is safe to use for diabetics, but we do not have a nutritional analysis for it and don’t know where to get one.
