I am growing sweet Annie (Artemisia annua). It is growing well for me. My question is, "When is it to be harvested"? It is just beginning to get tiny flowers that have not opened yet.

Sweet wormwood should be harvested just as it begins to bloom, usually in late summer. For medicinal uses the whole plant is harvested at that time. Branches can be dried by suspending them upside down in an airy place out of direct sunlight for use in wreaths.

Leaves ore picked before flowering. They are dried to be used in decoctions, infusions, powders, tablets, tinctures or oil extraction.
