I need some more advice on germination conditions for the Artemisia annua seeds I just received from you. I note the requirement on the pack to mix with wet sand, freeze, thaw, sprinkle and firm into the top of soil.

Can you let me know at what temperature the seeds will germinate and what the percentage of germination is likely to be. Also, I was previously advised there would be around 6000 seeds per gram - this seems very high - could somebody confirm.

Artemesia annua germinates best at 22 degrees Celsius. It usually has excellent germination (75-90 %) under the correct conditions. The number of seeds per gram are 6000 to 7000, but our current lot has larger seed and is therefore closer to the 6000 seed per gram.
