I am planning on moving to Hawai’i in a few years, & would like to have my garden there too... my question is, can my herbs (comfrey, ginseng, chamomile, coltsfoot, dog rose, etc. etc. etc.) survive in Hawai’i?

Hawaii is in zone 10 and 11. By checking in our catalogue the zone rating given beside the name of all of our herbs you can see which will survive in zone 10 to 11. For example the first herb in our catalogue listing that you can grow in the interior of Hawaii is Heather Queen agastache. It would probably not survive on the low coast, because it is only rated to survive in zones 9-10 and most of the coast of the Hawaiian islands are zone 11. Cape aloe (Z11+) would only survive winters on the coast but not in the interior highlands, while Aloe vera (Z10-11+) would survive anywhere in Hawaii.

Most annuals will give a crop, but may not survive the hottest part of the season to produce seed.
