How can I obtain information on the cultivation of the Chinese wolfberry?

Chinese wolfberry likes sandy soil and prefers a cool, dry spot in the garden. They do not tolerate damp, wet conditions. However during blooming and fruiting, adequate moisture must be present for best fruit set and the plants may need to be irrigated.

To grow it from seed, if it comes in the fruit, the pulp must be removed before sowing. Soaking the seeds in 40 degree Celsius water for 24 hours may increase the rate of germination. Sow the seeds by mixing them with sand and spreading them in 1.5 centimeters deep trenches that are spaced 30 centimeters apart. Cover them with half to one centimeter of soil and water the seedbed. After germination pull out weak seedlings and thin to the strongest seedling in crowded areas. Next spring transplant to a spacing of about 11 to 13 square feet per plant or 1.2 to 1.5 square meters per plant. You will need 3000 to 3500 plants per acre or 7000 to 8000 plants per hectare.
