Hydroculture of Herbs

I am really interested in the hydroculture method of planting. Would you know where I could find out more about it? I first was introduced to this system about 20 years ago and am interested mainly in where I can get it in Canada. Thanks for your time.

We have answered questions on hydroponic herbs previously. Go to the "Q&A" section of our website at http://www.richters.com/show.cgi?page=QandA/QandA.html and do a search for "hydroponic"; past articles will come up.

Many herbs respond very well to hyrdoponic culture. Basil is probably the most successful fresh herb that is grown hydroponically.

There is also an article on hydroponics in the "Resources for Growers" section of the website at http://www.richters.com/link.cgi.

In the third and fifth Richters conference transcripts (available from Richters in the book section of the online catalogue under "R" books) there are transcripts of prensentations on commercial hydroponic production of herbs.
