Thank you very much for identifying the spider mite problem and a detailed suggestion on the treatment for it. Any thoughts on the plant with sticky droplets on the leaves and on the floor around the plant? We didn’t realize the extent of the problem until we moved the plant outside this summer. My sister is also facing the same problem with this variety of the curry leaf plant.

Typically, when there is an oozing problem like what you describe it is caused by a pest infestation. Mealybugs and scale insects are notorious for that. I suppose that a very heavy spider mite infestation can do the same, but it seems to me to be less likely. I would check for mealybugs and scale or any other infestation that you might have. If they can be ruled out then watch what happens after you bring the spider mites under control. If the problem persists after the mites are gone then we will have to do some more digging to find the cause; I suggest that you contact us again if the oozing continues.
