My daughter wants to plant some indoor herbs this fall. What do you recommend? We’d like to plant some basil, sage, oregano, etc. Do we need plants or can we start with seeds? We live in Georgia, USA.

You can start with either, but for reasonably fast results with perennials, I would recommend plants. Make sure you have a sunny window, otherwise your plants will get very spindly and have little taste. For information on how to start and grow herbs indoors, go to our web-site at www.richters.com go to the "News&Info" section and in there click on the "Magazine Rack" . It contains many articles on these topics.
