Patchouli as an Indoor Plant

I purchased 3 patchouli plants and was wondering if they could be grown inside the house all year round? We have cold winters, approx -25C, or should I grow outside in the summer and bring in for the winter?

Patchouli plants cannot tolerate frost so you need to bring them indoors over winter. They don’t need full sun and can therefore be grown quite well on a bright windowsill all year round. If you put them outside for the summer place them in the shade. They love moist air and might like it better out of doors if you live in a humid environment.
