Growing Wasabi In Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada

I have a potted wasabi plant roughly seven inches tall. It came from a nursery. It’s presently still in the pot partially in sun and partially in shade. Can I plant it in a herb garden or should I leave it in a pot and bring it indoors during the winter months?

Plant it in a pot and bring it indoors for the winter since it is not hardy in your area. It would survive in zone 8 or warmer. Go to www.Richters.com/wasabi/ to read all about the culture of this plant.
