My Russian sage won’t grow. Also some of the leaves have turned yellow. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Make sure your plant does not have any nearby competition. It needs lots of room. The soil should be well-drained, but moisture retentive. A mix of sharp sand and compost works well. It must have full sun and it should not dry out, especially before it has formed a proper deep root system.
