Growing Chinese Herbs on Kauai and Big Island in Hawaii, USA

I was wondering if you knew which Chinese herbs would grow best in different micro climates on Kauai, first and the Big Island, second.

The coastal areas of all of the Hawaiian Islands are zone 11, or tropical with the peaks of the higher ones being zone 10. The annuals are probably OK anywhere, but for the perennials you will have to consult our catalogue where the range of zones the herb will tolerate is given to the right of the Latin name ( eg Ma Huang as well as Ginkgo, Z5-8, will not survive your summers)
