I bought a bay laurel plant from you guys way back last summer. Was very happy with my order and still am it’s just that my bay plant isn’t growing at all. Can you give me some helpful hints please?

Bay laurels have one to two growth spurts per year and the rest of the time they just sit and look pretty! I presume you got your plant after its second growth spurt and it is now waiting for spring before growing again. Patience is all you need. When that top bud starts to break open, fertilize the plant with some organic fertilizer so that it will have enough strength for a second growth spurt in early summer. Some plants seem to skip the second spurt, but grow more when they do grow.
