Herb of the Year 2000

Recently I was assigned the bulletin board for the Stirling & Distract Horticultural Society. One of our 65 members asked what ‘the herb of the year’ will be in 2000. After searching the internet I have come up with two possible answers, rosemary & monarda. Please tell me which is the correct answer so I may post the required information promptly.

The International Herb Association’s "Herb of the Year" for 2000 is rosemary. Richters has introduced a new rosemary variety called "Sawyer’s Select" which you can read about in our "What’s New" section of our website.
