| | | What is Equivalent to Seroquel for Shingles? Answered by: Susan Eagles Question from: Marie Posted on: May 01, 2007
I have a few health conditions, like going through bouts of shingles outbreaks for close to a decade now. I was having trouble sleeping, because of the pain etc., so my doctor gave me Seroquel. It made me "feel" good, but I was experiencing too many side effects. I stopped taking it. I am now searching for the Herbal Equal to Seroquel.
Seroquel is an antipsychotic drug, which works by changing brain chemicals. We would not use a herbal medicine that was "equal" to this drug. Herbal medicine works to create a balance in the body so that the environment of the body (for example, the digestive system and the immune system) is conducive to health, not disease. Herbs are included to relieve the immediate symptoms as well as to promote this healthy balance.
