I have some beautiful basil plants and need to know how to save the basil leaves for later use. Do I cut the leaves off and then place them in a small container and freeze?
Yes, this is the best way to retain the basil flavour. Strip the clean leaves and place them in small containers in the freezer. In large containers the leaves loose their crispness after opening and closing the container several times in room temperature,
