Strengthening Connective Tissue/Repairing Soft Tissue

I was wondering if there are any remedies available for regrowing and/or strengthening ligaments, tendons, and other soft tissue such as menisci... I have a torn rotator cuff (anterior labral tear) and ligament laxity in both my knees that has led to clicking, weakness, and pain in both my knees and hips. I used to play several sports and lead an active lifestyle, and this has been very debilitating. I have only seen herbal remedies that "lower pain" and "reduce inflammation" -- but I am interested in something that can actually repair the damage. Are there compounds that can actually repair soft tissue injuries and how effective are they?

In China, there are many different ethical groups which have their own herbal medicines and remedies. When I was a researcher in China, I had chances to learn and witness some very effective remedies for different medical purposes. They did have some remedies and herbs for the purposes you mentioned above, such as Cocculus laurifolius, Stephania cepharantha and Rubus cochinchinensis etc.. Unfortunately, all the herbs applied in the remedies are only growing in local area and importantly used only fresh forms.

Probably I can only do one thing for you that I can recommend the best herbalists to you if you have the chance to visit Southern China where I came from.
