Hmm... do you mean the leaves? Of course, cardomom the spice is the seed. You could chew the seed but they are quite spicy and I am not sure how enjoyable it would be to chew the seeds. Maybe you can tell me a bit more about why you want to chew the seeds, and how many? Is it for a particular medicinal purpose?
I heard Whole Cardamom Pods freshen your breath. Is this true?
Yes, they will.
The directions I read in a magazines were to chew the pods slowly and do not swallow.
What do you think?
I agree that cardamom will work, but they are very spicy so you need to develop a bit of experience in chewing at just the right speed.
