I was told by a friend that the salad herb, rocket or roquet enhances sexual desires. Is this true?
Rocket or roquette is also known as arugula. It is a tasty spinach-like green from the Mediterranean. The botanical name is Eruca vesicaria sativa.
I have not heard this about roquette enhancing sexual desire. If it is true I would guess that it is a minor effect compared with more traditional aphrodisiac herbs such as damiana and yohimbe.
