Rosemary Dead or Dormant? Answered by: Richters Staff Question from: Marilynne Payne Posted: Before April 1998 I live in Zone 6. I brought my rosemary plant indoors to my sunroom. The temperature is around 58 degrees Fahrenheit (14 degrees Celsius). The plant appears dead but I am continuing to water sparingly. Do you think my plant is really dead or could it be dormant?
This is one of the most common questions we get. Please see the FAQ section of our website for answers to similar questions. You may wish to consider the hardier Arp variety of rosemary. Some gardeners have managed to get it to survive zone 6 winters by using protective mulches. | | |
