How do you grow basil?
Basil is a sun and heat loving plant that will appear to get frozen in temperatures merely close to freezing.
It is very easy to grow from seed. Just plant in any good garden soil, barely cover the seed and keep warm and constantly moist. You will get almost 100% germination in under a week.
The book, "Basil: An Herb Lover’s Guide" (catalog #B1440) has an answer for any other basil questions you may have and is the very book to get to familiarize yourself with over fifty varieties of basil and their uses.
