Pasque Flower Germination Answered by: Inge Poot Question from: Jeana Davis Posted on: August 17, 1998
I have some pasque seeds from you. I planted them and none have come up. Should they be kept in total darkness until sprouting? What is the germination time? What is their ideal situation? I live in Southern Mississippi, USA.
You get the best germination of pasque flower seeds if you plant the seeds with just the thinnest layer of soil covering them and keeping the seedbed at 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius), They should germinate in 2 to 5 weeks.
